What grants are available for lift installation?
The Xunta de Galicia and the Ministry have specific funding lines for accessibility improvements in residential buildings, covering between 50% and 80% of the cost.
Is it feasible to install a lift in a building with no existing shaft?
In most cases, yes. We always do a free preliminary feasibility study.
Is unanimous community agreement required?
No. The Horizontal Property Law allows lift installation to be approved by simple majority when a resident over 70 or with a disability lives in the building.
How long does the entire process take?
From project to commissioning, between 8 and 14 months.
What if the building is listed or in a historic centre?
Intervention is always possible, adapting the solution to heritage requirements.
